Meet the Woodside Tennis Coaches


DAWN FALLU


Dawn has 20+ years as a tennis instructor for youth, juniors, and adults and and holds the following certifications with USPTA, USPTR, 10 & Under Certification, Cardio Tennis, USRSA - First Aid, CPR, and AED.  Dawn has held leading roles in many area tennis programs including Birmingham Athletic Club, Dearborn Racquet and Health Club, and The Fairlane Club in Dearborn.  In 2006 & 2007, she ran District and Regional Jr. Olympic Skills Competitions with over 200 kids and helped run the National Jr. Olympic Skills Competition at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. In 2007, she collaborated with the National USTA Youth Development Team in creating RalleyBall Tennis for 12 & under players; which over the next 5 years, turned into the current USTA National 10 & Under Progressions Tennis. For 2 years, she was abroad -- 2016 in China where she was lucky enough to teach 10 & Under Progression Tennis at the Chinese National Olympic Junior Stadium in Nanjing and she just returned in 2018 from Melbourne, Australia where she spent a year working with their Hot Shot 12 & Under Tennis. Dawn also coached High School Division 1 Girls and Boys Teams for 10 years and has taken several of her teams to State Playoffs. She and her husband of 30 years are proud to have raised two girls both in the medical field who played varsity tennis together at Lawrence Technological University   











BOB RONDEAU

Bob has enjoyed USTA competition for nearly 30 years, and has won the USTA 9.0 Mixed Doubles State of Michigan Championship twice.  In 2017, he was the State of Michigan Senior Olympic Mixed Doubles Champ.  He plays 3-5 times per week to keep his skills sharp.  Bob loves the game, and particularly enjoys promoting the game to children and adults. He intends to get his USPTA Certification in May of 2018.  Outside of tennis, Bob is an avid cyclist.
